An unexpected accident, or an avoidable incident, whatever you call it, John had paid the price, which was his own young life. Personally, If I were John, had a bright future ahead of me, a young family,a sweet wife, an infant and a new baby the coming year, I wouldn’t squeeze myself into an unknown tunnel anyway, especially UPSIDE DOWN. It says John had a remarkable ability to connect with children, now he let other men master his own child (or children), how sad is this, dear John ?

To everyone calling this man an idiot: He did not intend to get stuck. He was hoping there was a larger area through the tunnel. He was not expecting it to be a dead end. You’re being incredibly small-minded if you think he went down that crevice knowing there was a dead-end and purposefully buried himself in that position.
Also, they had previously thought about breaking his legs to remove him from the tunnel, but did not in fear of killing him. He was already dead, so I wonder why that couldn’t have broken his legs and used the pulley system to remove his corpse. Unless I missed it somewhere, it never said his aid was needed to use the pulley system.

When I was around 15-17 my friends invited me to go cave diving somewhere in the Maryland country.. it was a big ass NOPE!!!

My worst nightmare is getting stuck ANYWHERE.
I CAN imagine what the poor guy went through.. of course I assume I know what he went through…but never in a million years will I ever truly understand the horror he faced.
