I remember when this happened. I was Karissa’s age. Even before it was known the mom did it, people found her televised pleas sus. She was crying but it seemed fake. Which it of course was.

Her dad lived in Shelburne County which is very remote and sparsely populated, the towns there only have populations in the hundreds and it’s a few towns that are mostly fishing villages. So Bridgewater is a lot bigger and more exciting for a young person.
