Morbidology is a weekly true crime podcast created and hosted by Emily G. Thompson. Using investigative research combined with primary audio, Morbidology takes an in-depth look at true crime cases from all across the world.

The “Mr. Big” operation is an investigative technique used by law enforcement agencies, particularly in Canada. It is a type of undercover operation designed to obtain a confession from a suspect in a serious criminal case. In 2019, after a mother and her young daughter vanished in Cranston, Canada, detectives quickly zoned in on a primary suspect. They just needed the evidence for an arrest, and turned to the controversial technique.
