Morbidology is a weekly true crime podcast created and hosted by Emily G. Thompson. Using investigative research combined with primary audio, Morbidology takes an in-depth look at true crime cases from all across the world.


It was a pleasant summer afternoon in Sydney’s CBD on the 13th of August, 2019. The area was swarming with people, workers carrying out their daily duties and walking to and from meetings, and shoppers trying to find a good bargain. Just after lunchtime, however, the city was thrown into chaos as a man brandishing a large bloody kitchen knife began to run rampant throughout the streets.
