Temperatures were dipping to – 40 Celsius with the wind chill in Toronto, Canada, on the 1st of July, 2008. People all across the globe had just rung in the new year, but at around 6PM that evening, the first murder of the year in Toronto would be unfolding, a murder that would send shockwaves across the nation and truly highlight the dangers of teenage obsession and rivalry.
