Morbidology Podcast

The article continues below

Morbidology is a weekly true crime podcast created and hosted by Emily G. Thompson. Using investigative research combined with primary audio, Morbidology takes an in-depth look at true crime cases from all across the world.

During the 1980s, forensic science was still in its early stages, lacking the advanced techniques we have today. However, over the subsequent couple of decades, remarkable strides were made in the field. DNA testing, fingerprint analysis, and fibre testing emerged, ushering in a new era of forensic capabilities. With these breakthroughs, cold cases that had long remained unsolved began to be revisited, utilizing the power of modern investigative techniques. Among these cases was the tragic 1986 murder of a teenage girl, whose lifeless body was discovered just a short distance from her own front door in Greenock, Scotland.
