In early August of 2015, Vermont was rocked by a shooting spree which culminated with the murder of a social worker. The grim murders sparked intense debate on gun control, mental illness, social services and security. The stolen lives tore apart two families, including one that was forced to deal with the aftermath of knowing that one of their own was responsible.
