More than one million Australians are active users of the dating app, Tinder, with those numbers rising by at least 5% each day. The app was created in 2012, and it truly exploded, completely erasing the social stigma that had surrounded online dating for years. However, two years later, a young woman’s death exposed the dangers that online dating can expose people to. The case was thrust into the spotlight when it was uncovered that the last moments of the young woman’s life had been caught on audio.
