Aspen is a ski-resort town located 13,000 feet up the Rocky Mountains. At one point in time, it was a silver mining town but now, it is a magnet for the wealthy. Nestled among a picturesque mountain and lakes, the average home price in Aspen is around $5 million with at least 50 billionaires owning a home here. In the 1970s and 1980s, Aspen had a reputation for cocaine-fuelled excess but since then, its reputation has drastically changed and it has an extremely low crime rate. However, in 2014, a wealthy Aspen socialite was found dead in her expensive home, sparking an exhaustive investigation, the outcome of which would come as a complete shock to the entire area.
