In 1981, police in North Yorkshire, England, were called by a well-spoken man who informed them where to find a woman's body. Four decades later and the woman's identity still remains a mystery.
In June of 2004, a teacher at an elementary school in Sasebo, Japan, would be horrified to discover a student bleeding to death in the classroom. Even more haunting, she had been killed by another classmate.
It was the 10th of July, 2001, when police in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, received a very panicked phone call from 20-year-old Sef Gonzales. He exclaimed that he had been returning home from a night out with a friend when he uncovered a particularly gruesome scene. As he entered the home, he saw the words: “Fuck off Asians KKK” painted on a wall. This was only an indication of the horrors that would be found inside.
In 1996, the body of a baby girl was discovered wrapped in a blanket and sweater in Palm Beach County, Florida. Despite an exhaustive investigation, the identity of the baby girl, as well as the identity of her killer, still remains a mystery.
On 26 September, 2008, the police of Lusby, Maryland, received multiple phone-calls from worried citizens that reported seeing a young girl running down the street. She was semi-naked and appeared to be covered in faeces and blood. The little girl, who was 7-years-old, was taken to a local hospital where an examination revealed that she had been the victim of violent abuse and neglect.
In 2014, 12-year-old Jamarion Lawhorn took some "red little pills" he had found in his home & stabbed another child to death. He expected that when police arrived at the scene, they would shoot him dead. He told them: "I want to die. I don't want to be on this earth anymore." An investigation revealed Jamarion had been the victim of extreme physical abuse & neglect at the hands of his mother & stepfather.
It was 1 July, 2012, when guests at a Best Western hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, heard a woman screaming as she ran down the hallway. The woman was 33-year-old Sharon Flanagan from Inwood, West Virginia. In the bathtub inside her hotel room, a guest found the lifeless body of her two-year-old son.
In 1993, Karen MacKenzie and her three children - ages 16, 7 and 5 - were brutally murdered in their remote home in Greenough, Western Australia. Details of the grisly murders were so horrific that much of Australia called for the death penalty to be reinstated.
In June of 2020, it was reported in the media that an inmate at the Airway Heights Correctional Center in Washington had been murdered by his cellmate. 70-year-old Robert Munger was assaulted and killed by 25-year-old Shane Goldsby. However, this wasn’t just a random attack; Munger was in prison for raping Goldsby’s sister.
Grace Packer suffered unimaginable abuse throughout her short life. After her parents lost custody of her due to abuse, she was adopted by an extremely sadistic couple who would make her life living hell.
“I just stabbed myself and killed my two children,” calmly stated 30-year-old Brandi Worley to a 911 operator in Darlington, Indiana, on the 17th of November, 2016. When police rushed to scene, they found the lifeless bodies of 7-year-old Tyler and 3-year-old Charlee.
In 1973, Britain was rocked by the extremely grisly murder of three young children by a man who had been entrusted to care for them. Over four decades later, he was released from prison.
