Except that this isn’t “Satanism”. Satanism is Atheism and Philosophy, but with a dogma based on ethics and strictly condemns bad behaviour and encourages benevolence and empathy. At least this applies to the Satanic Temple. As far as I know, the Satanic Church operates a little differently and has a rule that says “If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.” – so you could say that if Ricky “practiced” Satanism, this could be the only thing that would draw a link between this case and Satanism. But I highly doubt Ricky was in the headspace for that and merely acted out what he thought was satanism, like many idiots. He had unresolved issues and the drugs only made it worse.
