No loss of employment. No suspensions or any other loss of pay or demotions. Nothing. If anyone in another career field were to make such erroneous mistakes, it would only be probable that they are dismissed from their duties. Yet law enforcement rarely, if ever, has to adhere to the same standards. Why is that?

The girls were around the same age. the man who the police believe did it said he wouldn’t confess until his mother died. although the man was already serving life for multiple murders.
