he has allowed ghastly things, many he caused deliberately, the flood, according to the bible. Believers claim he will come back and destroy every single soul that was disobedient. He made a bet with Satan, according to the bible, that Job would still love him after horrible things happened to him. So Job was tortured by the very entity he loved. People shower him with praise and adulation. What do those prayers do for him except let him gloat? are they some kind of food or sustenance he needs for survival?

You are either too uneducated or too afraid to think for yourself so you need religion to tell you how to live. That is almost as pathetic as a god who would allow such a thing to happen to a child because “he works in mysterious ways….” Grow up, already.

In the real world, if a person allowed such to happen, especially to a child, that person is just as guilty. Therefore, your friend in the sky is just as pathetic as the rapist is. Any supposed god that sits idly by and would allow for such behavior to happen to children deserves to be judged for the pathetic piece of trash deity that it is. The reality though is that the only place such a entity is actually real is in your vivid imagination. Grow up, already.

Any deity who allows for such things to happen is either a figment of the imagination of way too many grown adults or quite the pathetic god. Christians have either one of two lazy excuses: “Everything happens for a reason” or “The lord works in mysterious ways…” Exactly what good reason is there to let such horrendous things happen to children? Name one good “reason”. The whole mysterious ways excuse is just an ambiguous mantra that doesn’t even make sense to anyone capable of pragmatic thinking.

God used this horrible situation to make Elizabeth stronger. And now she can reach out to others and be a beacon of hope for those who have sufferered or may suffer a similar fate and she can warn others that this can happen to anyone, so they need to be aware of their surroundings etc. This was something that Satan did to try to Break Elizabeth, but God turned it into something for good. He always does, if we trust him .
