I don't know if you'll be able to read this, but I'm doing research into this case and I am falling down a rabbit hole with this theory lol -- I would love to know more about what locals thought about this case. Thank you!!

The story locally was not this one. It was a businessman who was well known who called and met her at Kingston Corners. His dad lived near the saw mill. His sister was in an insane asylum, The man at the school jumped from the window and killed himself in anguish, and the case was gone. It never appeared in the papers again. There was no strike but the father of that locally important man stopped the paper publication with torrents of cash. That family was called in by the SEC many times for manipulating stocks, and the man who was accused of the murder made a will at the persistence of Frank Jeskiewicz. An accountant a block away. The guy did not want to leave his family a penny. Franks story was that he drove a junky car. And said his children would piss it all away. So he convinced him to leave-get this-75 million to the mother and each child would get 15 of their own when the youngest of the four was 40. They had no idea what he had if you talked to Frank, Until then they lived off the principle. The old father borrowed about 250,000 dollars from my Polish grandfather. Never paid it. It is in my grandfather,s pocket in his grave- a signed note to agree to repay it. Back to the murderer, But he could not live with his lie and he shot himself. They say it was a heart attack. You would never convince the old guard her he did not kill the woman. It was well known in a private school her. But they are always the nicest people with such nice girls that they married. Uh huh. Reclusive as they are.

[…] December 21st, 2019 will mark 81 years since the discovery of the murdered body of Kingston, PA college graduate Margaret Martin, who had disappeared while en-route to a supposed job interview on December 17th. Her destination, Kingston Corners, was a short walk from the family home on Covert street and was teeming with shoppers making last-minute Christmas purchases. She never arrived, and very few witnesses were ever able to even place her there before she was found a few days later wrapped in a burlap sack floating in a nearby creek. Despite an exhaustive investigation, her killer was never found. You can read more about Margaret’s story here: https://morbidology.com/the-unsolved-sawmill-murder-margaret-martin/ […]

What a tragedy...this poor girl had her entire life to live. Makes matters worse that her killer walked away without ever being found to serve justice. What a mystery but he was probably a local and he knew of her from around town. I'm sure after this happened her parents were not too fond of the christmas holiday.
