Did they find a matching wheel barrow or red cloth at his home or place of work, could her dna or matching fibres be found on the cloth? How far back do they keep scene of crime evidence?
Was the pattern of his chord matching any imprint on Vera’s neck?
Discovered this story after searching gravestones of my relations buried in same cemetery, her pretty face stood out, such a sad story, so awful for her parents.

If the police tried the finger bandage on him and found that it was a perfect fit, then it will have been contaminated with his DNA.
